Less than 10 minutes away from US Highway 90 in the Mississippi Gulf Coast is a beautiful beach called Beach Front and East Beach. Locals and beach goers love this place because it is peaceful, beautiful and have a huge area. If you travel this route heading to Louisiana or Florida to the South, take an hour and stop by this place. This castle is truly enchanting. At night time it will change colors because of the lighting fixtures that focus on the building. When we arrived here in Mississippi, the first restaurant that I asked for is Olive Garden. It is an Italian Restaurant that I learn to love because of their famous bread sticks and soups. We really do not have plans yesterday because we already celebrated the advance party for the men (fathers) in our family. Advance party because the other members of our family went to a Holiday Cruise Vacation. Last Saturday, we took them to Alabama Port to catch their ship, shown on the picture below. Four of us left drooling for a dream vacation LOL! We will have our revenge planning too. We are planning on a Caribbean Cruise. I will keep my fingers crossed. Anyway, I gave my gifts to my husband and father-in-law. My husband wear them right away. He loves it. The picture below was what took place yesterday.Was glad they like it. My father-in-law decided that we will have lunch at the Isle of Capri Hotel and Casino so that after the lunch, he can gamble. He won $115 dollars while playing the $5 slot machines. He is really lucky. During dinner, we set our grill outside and the day ended fine. They are watching a movie while I was blogging. These are the pictures of our little grillin' outside. I made them. Yesterday, we went to City Hall of Justice somewhere in Gulfport, Mississippi to pay some Property Taxes. I took pictures while we are routing the US Highway 90 and it made me sad to see how Hurricane Katrina devastated this place severely. I saw the concrete stairway, buildings with roofs blasted as if it was hit by a powerful grenade, endless vacant lots with concrete flooring was all there was left behind. The distruction caused by that hurricane 4 years ago is still very much visible today. We drove to some of the streets in the city and it really touched my heart. Despite the huge calamity, the city is surviving and coping to get back the life of this place.
There were government buildings gone and destroyed. Some of them uses trailer houses as an office. I can tell that this place has an amazing scenery especially the beach area. There were good people that I knew who volunteered their talents and skills to make an art of out of those dead Oak Tree. There are so many Oak Trees uprooted during that hurricane. You can only imagine how disastrous that hurricane was. The pictures above, if you clicked it, you will see the stairs and the building on the right side was totally abandoned.
I was in the hallway of the city hall and my thoughts was still on those sad scenery. A big old man came up to me and started a conversation. I was a little bit cautious but, I made a friendly gesture while listening to his story. He was a Navy Veteran and he was so proud wearing his price possession, a cap with a Navy sign on it. I am so passive with what was written on the cap but, it was all about an organization of a US Navy. There was a huge map of the city and he was telling me the story of each places. My thought was, he was just trying to entertain me with his war stories. My husband and Dad was still doing the legal work so, I entertained myself with the display in the hallway.
The man said goodbye and when he was about to leave the building, a man with amputated leg came in at the back door and cursing the place. There was no wheelchair for disabled clients. The man heard him and volunteered to get the wheelchair at the front entrance. I wanted to take their pictures but, I hesitated. I was amazed that Good People ready to help a stranger still exist. I hope that we will be like that man, ready to help and ready to show a good deed to others.

Last Sunday, we played the Wii Sports and as you can see I won the bowling tournament...LOL! I played against my husband and my 89 year old father-in-law. When my 16 year old nephew brought his Wii in the house, my father-in-law just loves it and he then decided to buy one for himself. There are days that he will challenged us to play against him. Well, I won on this day but, most of the time, he is winning or my husband. I end up on the third.
See how very energetic my father-in-law is? With all the right movement. He loves it when he is winning. He can bragged about it because he does. He can not do the boxing, tennis and baseball because it needs more movement. He got punch in the boxing, he can't hit the tennis and baseball. He loves the golf and bowling because he only needs to swing. He always get a strike as a matter of fact.

The red car picture shown here is the vintage car of Mayor Buddy Dyer, a notable resident of Kissimmee, politician and mayor of Orlando, Florida. I hoped to see him during this event but we arrived late so, I just took a snap shot of the vintage cars on display including his beautiful car.Mayor Buddy Dyer was named by the Orlando Sentinel as the "Most Powerful Person in Central Florida" for 2008. That is why I hoped to see him in person. There are so many celebrities who live in Kissimmee area and that includes football players Brent Fullwood, Bobby Sippio and Brett Williams; A. J. McLean from Backstreet Boys; Jonathan Summerton, a race car driver; Kissy Simmons, an actor and cast member of Lion King and so many more. When you visit Kissimmee, you might run into these famous people in Florida. I hoped that I would but, it was not my lucky day. If you are a golf enthusiast and a fan of Tiger Woods, he lives nearby Kissimmee called Windermere. This is a very expensive, exclusive and well-gated community located in Central Florida. I had the chance to visit a friend in this place for three days and I wished to see Tiger Woods playing on the golf course of that community. I am a big fan of Tiger Woods and seeing him play golf in person would surely delight my heart. How about you? Are you planning to have a vacation in Florida? Stay at Kissimmee. It is the best place to see your favorite celebrities.

Have you seen the MTV Movie Awards 2009? They say Eminem knows it. But, if you can see the reaction of Eminem, he was totally caught off-guard. What do you think? For me, it was gross and so wrong! How many young viewers saw that show? It is totally disgusting. The butt of Borat is upside down on Eminem's face. Wheww!
This is one of my favorite movies. The story made me feel so good and relaxed. It made me cry at the end. Shallow, i know but, it proves that the actors are so good in their acting. There were dialogues in the movie that needs to be pondered upon. I believe in angels. Do you believe in angels?
