Buying a Property by the Gulf Coast is a Hassle

It's been awhile since you heard from me huh? Finally, we are back in the Gulf Coast. For those who knew me since 2008, you will again see me posting beach view, hotels, resort, sunset and sunrise, and places which serve good Southern food.

Moving from the Space Coast to this place was not hard; after all, we once lived here for more than a year. For sure, I will miss Disney World and Kennedy Space Center but since we own 2 condos in Orlando, going to Florida would be possible any time.

We arrived in Mississippi last May 11th and we stayed in the Palace Casino and Resort for a week. We moved to another hotel for another week hoping that the closing will be done soon but; we crossed too many hurdle.

We decided to go back to Florida and pick up our stuff in the storage. We flew via Delta Airlines and load our stuff using the U-Haul truck and head back to Mississippi the next day. Right now, our stuff is in the storage unit here while waiting for our closing date on Friday.

Hubby and I realized that buying a property in Florida is easier than buying a property by the Gulf coast area. In Florida, the wait time is faster especially for cash buyers (we are cash buyers) but, down here ... it doesn't matter. They took their sweet time here and I am not sure if it is the fault of the Realtor, the Listing Agent, the Bank, the Law Firm or the Title Company.
One thing we knew though; this house will be our first and last purchase down here. I hope in few years, the home buying processing will improved. I hope so.
