Troll is Everywhere

Lately, I noticed that many of the good people that I knew (online) were being harassed by TROLLS.

Wikipedia describes TROLL as Internet slang : "someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion."

Have you got trolls in your blog? I have few of them but, I just ignore them because they are not worthy of my time. They eventually disappear maybe; got tired for no attention given.

I can't blame them though; because for sure, NOBODY LOVES THEM. If trolls visit your blog, IGNORE. Have a good week everyone:-)

Quick Rants

It is just so funny that every time I checked on the pages of my blogs, I always find few out-of-topic comments. Of course, I did not publish them. It's very obvious that there are people out there who are working for few pennies by leaving comments with links. Bloggers will not allow that. My advise to them is to do blogging. Create a website either free or buy a domain. Once they have a site, they can monetize it.

They will earn 10 times more, than spending time commenting nonsense. I know that they will have tough luck with what they do now; especially most of the site owners activated the moderation for comments. I had fun time reading their redundant comments though (^o^) and I thank them for the constant visit of my blogs. Keep on coming okay?

Patriotism in the USA

When I first arrived in the Land of the Free, I was amazed how the retired people show their love of country by hoisting the flag on their backyard. And I admire that! In fact, my father-in-law has one because he was a retired major in the army. He was so proud of having a US flag in his property and in some way, I am too. What gets me ticked off are incidents like this: In 2009 (South Carolina) A woman put a US flag let on the road to honor a fallen marine, an employee of Bank of America, pulled it off because it's on the front of their property afraid that clients might complain. Crazy absurd statement right? This is America, it's an American Flag, they are Bank of America for goodness sake! While others show Patriotism to the US, others thought it's awkward! They should need a refresher course about US Patriotism.

Rants

Today is just one of those moments where "IF I CAN TURN BACK THE TIME" attitude. Wooohoooo! Hubby and I gathered our papers for tax preparation. We realized that we had more spending and few savings last year! That's not a wise plan, right? Well, so much was spent and it's high time to save for rainy days! That would mean, I need to find a real job again! Work from home job is just a sideline. I can't face the computer whole day or else, I will have a migraine attack! A year ago, I tried working online but, I can't keep up with the offers. I still prefer the life of working in the real world. Funny huh? I love blogging, don't get me wrong! Blogging is my way of expressing my rants and raves. Besides, working online is NO sweat at all but, my eyes will just surrender! My long vacation will end soon, i know, because right now I am bored staying at home.

Job Hunt

I was jobless since July last year because I resigned voluntarily. What are my reasons? We moved back to Florida, the state which I love so dearly. I was planning to enrol but, when we finally moved back, I was late during the enrolment. Hubby and I decided that I will just rest for few months and have a vacation to my homeland-the Philippines. Boy! I was so glad to have a 3months vacation! It was not enough though! But, nevertheless I enjoyed to have spent a time for myself and my family back home. Job Hunting is my goal this month! I am not in a hurry though because I want to start my driving lessons as soon as possible. Plus, to go back to school is a priority! God's will, I will finish these tasks, hopefully!

Confused

I don't know what's going on but, I can't view my two blogs earlier today. I think I have problems with my browser. I wonder if other bloggers could see my blog.? What I did was, I deleted the third party apps of a certain company and it was solved. I'm relieved now!

Nostalgia

It's good to be back in Orlando. We started to see our friends that we missed for almost two years. Coming back in this place that we love so much brought happiness and sadness. We live in a nice neighborhood and close to every major malls in Orlando. But, we missed two of our dear friends who were gone forever. It will never be the same without them. Life must go on and we are back here for good.

Blog Hopping Absence for a Year

I was trying to catch up in everything that I do in blogging but, I just can't. I just do not have the time because of Work and if I did have my day off, I spent it either by sleeping or catch up chores. I have been working for almost nine months now and prior to that, I took a Tax Course for three months. Therefore, I have been away from blogging for a year now. Whew! Really? Yeah, that long. I missed blogging everyday especially blog hopping and "chit-chat" to all my blogger friends.

There are times that I have "my time" to blog and grab paid opportunities but, internet connection was a problem. There are two ongoing road and building constructions in my neighborhood and they always mess the connection either cable or internet. For a week, we have been complaining and eventually resolved. It does not mean though that this problem will not happen in the future. Good solution for me is to subscribe a webConnect Jet USB Laptop Stick. This gadget is the best thing that I ever have to get an internet connection on the go. I do not own my time yet because I am working but, I will have it back soon.
To all my friends in Blogland, I did miss you and I will blog hop soon. I will not promise when but, it will be sooner than you think. See you all by then.

Mispelled Words

I woke up at 1 AM today and I wanted to blog and post all my unfinished opportunities. I did update three of my blogs since I wanted to write about Divine Mercy Sunday which is celebrated today throughout the world by the Catholics.
I was awake for 9 hours now and all I did was window shopping online and talking to my family back home. When I tried to check on my blogs, I notice that the word DIVINE, I mis-spelled it. I was really upset! In three blogs, I mis-spelled the word Divine to DEVINE. All i have in my mind is a lady name "Devinagracia" and so, I typed Devine. I found it out too late. People google it already and it was indexed as Devine.
Anyway, can't fixed it no more unless if I wanted to delete it. But, I let it that way. I corrected my posts at once!

To Quit or Not to Quit

Have you ever experience the feeling of "suffocation", not letterally though. I am referring to my feelings in relation to my present job. I really do not need this job but, if I quit, I will be bored at home. And besides, I can have projects with what I am earning. While I am at work, my body would screamed as if telling me to just quit. Last week, I broke down because I was too exhausted and yet, so much work was lined up to get done. The only way to get out of this feeling is to quit right? But, I do not quit easily. I have the WILL power and as long as I have the patience to keep coming to work, I will be alright. I will quit for health reasons though. I don't like smoke and my workplace is a smoking war zone.

Career Change

Talking about business now which just popped up in my mind. Some people switch jobs from one position to the another because of so many reasons. Our job is important because it is the source to make our life better. We need to pay the bills and provide food for our family. We need to hold on to our job even if we are not happy with it, we still need to hang on to it. I am a risk taker so, I might not hang on to mine. I need a job that makes me look forward to working everyday. If you ask me right now, I felt suffocation when I think about my job. First, I have this "crazy man" tagging on my tail every week. My lady boss told him NOT to go near my area but, yesterday, he came inside our room with only me around. I was burst with anger so, I did make sure that my superior knows about it.

About career change, I might switch back to teaching. After working for four months in the casino, I do not see myself getting hired to another department. I guess, I should have accepted that teaching position offered to me before. But, no regrets really. Having this present job, I was able to buy my own van and pay my bills back home. So, there is a purpose why I held on to it.
I was thinking of having my own day care center in Orlando. I knew a lot of friends who have kids and they adored me. Maybe, that is really my vocation. When we return to Orlando, this will be the plan that I need to pursue. Not really a career change but, a career that I need to get back to for good.

No IM Chat

Since February 8, after that identity scam incident, I no longer use IM chat and I erased all the email addresses of my friends list. Whenever I need something to tell to my family back home, I call them on the phone. This is really hassle for me. Aside from being so expensive, can't do anything but, deal with it. To all my friends in IM, I will just call you on the phone. I did not open a new email account so, if you happen to see a friend request coming from me, it is a FAKE! This is just to warn you that you should not accept any friend request using my persona. IT IS NOT ME. You can contact me here though. I will keep in touch.

My Day Off

During my day off, I spent it doing random things of catching up such as listening to my music collection, watching my favorite romantic-comedy movies and doing household chores. Yesterday, I spent my day off taking few hours wandering in Hard Rock Biloxi Hotel and Casino. My husband and I together with a cousin, we went out for lunch at the Satisfaction Buffet.

We love to hang out in Hard Rock because we love to eat in their casual dining. Since we are players card member, we have 50% discount in the buffet and for the three of us, it just cost us for less than $20 for lunch in the buffet. Where else can you find that deal? Only in Hard Rock!

I am too lazy to post some opportunities lately. I know, I just let the "moolah" pass by huh! Just tired to write ads lately. I am just browsing/surfing the net. Of course, been browsing for job vacancies too. God will make a way for me, I know.

Ships by Barry Manilow

While at my workplace, I listen to Pandora music or watch YouTube videos using my Blackberry phone. I usually pick up my favorite song writers and favorite singers then, I go from there. I like the music of Barry Manilow and I was surfing his songs. I came across to an old video with him narrating something about his childhood experience. I realized he came from a broken family too. Well, I listen... just listen...
I love this song but, it never occurred to me that it was about father-son relationship. A happy song in celebration of a good relationship. I can fully understand the sigh he made as he sit on the piano. The only memory that Barry Manilow remember his father was when he gave him a radio for his birthday.

Funny, I remembered my father too when he gave me a watch and a card for my birthday, LOL. Well, that was a long time ago. So; for all the fathers out there, visit your children every week and make sure you are there when they need you. If you take for granted your children's childhood memories and you are not there, you will only as good as a radio or a watch.

Step Back

My horoscope today reads:

"If you feel like staying in, do so. Don't let anyone guilt you into a social event. You shouldn't have to wonder too much about what is really going on --> your awareness of the situation should prove to be more or less spot on. It's a good time for you to relate to difficult people."

I was just amazed with my horoscope reading today. It seems that it really warns me for the situation that I am in. I just realized that I am caught in the middle of a chaotic situation of this couple which I have nothing to do. I never intended to be the reason of someone's misery. Not my fault and both of them should step out of my way!

Family Friendly Website

I do not know why this anonymous kept on sending comment in my post that contain out of topic messages. He just wanted me to approve the comment and once it is posted, he got a FREE link from my Website. Poor thing. I can publish a FREE link if their product is family friendly. But, OMG, it is for adults thing. I wonder if this anonymous owner of this adult Website understand English at all. My Website is:

A PERSONAL BLOG THAT TALKS ABOUT LIFE IN GENERAL, TRAVEL RECOMMENDATIONS, PERSONAL INSIGHTS, EXPERIENCES AS AN EDUCATOR, FAMILY MATTERS, OPINION IN POLITICS, PERSONAL/SPIRITUAL GROWTH, ENTERTAINMENT FOR A HEALTHY DISPOSITION AND SELF IMPROVEMENT TO BECOME A BETTER PERSON.

I just hope that he can understand this message.

Blog Hopping

I am not done visiting the blogs of those who visited me yesterday. I quit because I was too sleepy when I realized that I left a bizarre comments. LOL! The comment was too funny so, I stopped and rest. There are so many times that I pull myself to finish the task for the day. When I woke up today, I found out that I had some grammatical errors in my posts. LOL. I just edit it and laugh about it. Well, I am sure you notice that too. But, I know half of the bloggers just visit and don't read the post, right? LOL! Anyway, thank you for the comments and enjoy blogging. See ya'll in your blogs.

Who Likes Spam Emails Anyway

Everyday, after my morning routines, I turn on my PC and blog. I usually check if I have comments to publish and so many spam emails to delete too. It's really annoying to see the following subjects:
  • Get what you paid for with CanadianPharmacy
  • You win a million
  • You are the Beneficiary
  • Urgent Job Offer
  • Get your Fed-Ex Package and so on ....
I know that by clicking these emails would make someone happy too because it can generate money for them. But, this is not right! Yet, we can not do anything about it. This is how the technology works. It is just so annoying.

Calls at Wee Hours

I was awakened by my husband as he tried to mumbled, "Is that a phone call from your cellphone?". Half awake, I gazed at the clock and it reads 4:30 in the morning. I answered the phone, thinking that it's an urgent call from my classmate or from an advertisement/solicitor. If you experience having spam emails, I got spam calls and that's the same. I have spam calls from advertisements since I signed up for online survey before. Thinking, earning few dollars is okay and as it gets annoying, I deleted my accounts. DO NOT GIVE YOUR IMPORTANT DETAILS ONLINE if it is not secured (HTTPS is fine).

Anyway as I pick up the phone, the man introduced himself and he is calling from a Human Resource Department in one of the Casinos here and that, I have a scheduled interview for a job which I applied a month ago. WEIRD! 4:30 AM for an appointment? Here is the odd part, my interview is at 11:30 PM. Wheww!

I check my online application for that casino and true enough, I had a scheduled interview today. Here is another heads up: DO NOT CHECK "ANYTIME" in the box where it asked you about the best time to call you. I read this many times in some documents that I filed such as Insurance and tax firm company. It's annoying really so, take that question seriously.

Hey, it's SEPTEMBER now. Excited for the Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas Season.

Update: Happy TGIF Everyone

Update? I enrolled in a TAX Course this semester just to learn the basic on tax preparation. We are only few in the class and I am the only Asian. I have Mexican and British classmates and the rest are all Americans. The class is really set up good and everyone participates actively in class discussions. The teacher is subtasking the lesson which is good. Every session, we have assignments. We have 8 assignments done so far. This reminded me of my summer class that I have back home. It was a special class for Teachers in Science and Math who are teaching Intermediate classes. Well, I am having fun so far.

I was sick for few days that is why there are days that I missed visiting your blogs. I noticed that I have new friends coming to my blogs too. WELCOME and THANK YOU!

In few minutes, I will be heading to HardRock to treat my Husband for a lunch date...hehehe. I will try to take pictures this time. See you all later.
