The Notebook : My Thoughts

I always love to watch romantic movies and The Notebook is just one of the movies that I'm having a loop of emotions. The story is based on Nicholas Sparks novel, a drama that chronicles an enduring love that withstands both war and disease. Long story? Seven years of holding back momentum and a love worth a lifetime to hang on. It begins in a nursing home, where a man James Garner arrives every day with a notebook from which he reads stories about a couple, Noah and Allie (played by Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, to an unresponsive woman Gena Rowlands. Who are the characters in the book, and why does the stranger insist on reading about them aloud?

The story ended an agonizing happy ending. Agonizing? Happy Ending? Looks like ironic right? I want you to watch it and you will see what I meant. I rated it 5 stars. The story convey a message that Love conquers all. That, as long as both love each other, time will find a way. That only sickness and death can take them apart or be together once again.

Credit Cards: Balance Transfer

Do you have credit cards? Yes, I am talking about three or more credit cards that you own. The more credit card you own, the more confusing it is for you to track even if you are using online transactions. If the high interest monthly credit cards bother you so much, you can start consolidating and apply for a balance transfer credit cards that offer a 0% APR with low interest or even with no interest at all.

By doing so, you may lower your monthly payments by consolidating your several credit lines into one and new line of credit. Visit dealsforcreditcards.com and check out the cards they recommended. They say that cashback is really hard to beat. Why? The offers can be used to pay the bills, pay for your child's college, pay for car or home down payment and sometimes, they offer gift certificates and discounts.

With these good incentives for credit card holders, we simply could not resist the offers right? The more we shop, the more we get our money back plus, we get other more perks. When you apply for a new credit card, look for the reward program they offer because it will return a percentage of charged that you purchased.

Hurricane Camille Memorial

It was the evening of August 17, 1969 that Biloxi, Mississippi was hit by THE WORST STORM called CAMILLE.My husband and his family was with in the vicinity of Biloxi at that time. Some of their neighbors perished and surrounding houses blown away from 200+mph winds and water surge was 30 feet. This is the "Hurricane Camille Memorial", 172 names was listed plus a space of missing/unknown people who lost their lives during the storm. The metal frame that you see in the background is the old Episcopal Church of the Redeemer totally damaged by hurricane Katrina. A flagpole was twisted and remain as part of the historic site. Look at the mosaic showing the hurricane Camille, huge art work on the circle under the pool of water.Okay, that is me. I was just looking at the list of names. The artwork of Camille in the pool is really extraordinary.

I Miss My Little Friend

This was taken after we play tag, then, she sit down and rested. I said, smile....she just leaning in her right arm and put the other one on her lap and slightly move her head. Then, I click...after this take, she burst out laughing. Was so amazed!
This is my little friend in Orlando. She is 19 months old now. Look at her, she really smile at the camera, I set it for 10 seconds and we just hold our smile until it will click...no flash, i forgot.
She loves to smile. The last time I heard from her was, she is counting Spanish numbers. She can count from 1 to 10 though before I left, now, she just follow Dora's counting...LOL!
She loves to be at my back. Kids loves this anyway. When I squat on the floor she would immediately mounted on my back before I could escape....LOL!
Okay, that was it. I just miss her when I saw these pictures. I will be seeing her soon.

Garden And Patio Show In Biloxi

These are just some of the pictures I took during our visit to the Garden and Patio Show in
Biloxi, Mississippi. The top picture is where the venue was held. The space is big but, I was a little bit disappointed to see some of the ordinary plants was way too expensive. We bought flowering plants worth $30 and we have 5 different kinds. I say, expensive because, you can buy plants and flowering plants in Walmart and Lowe's same kind at a lesser price.

Anyway, what we got is unbeatable and no wonder , that store was really selling a lot of their display. Father in law, me and hubby went there yesterday and the entrance costs $8/person. Not worth seeing considering, it is a garden/patio show but, the plants display are only at the side corners and the middle was just gadgets like the famous shamwow...hahaha. That really is selling great though. Most people who come out from the venue, had shamwow instead of roses or plants in that matter.

Disappointed in the sense that they should have more plant display, flowers and gazeebo for the patio design. I only see, I think 2 or three gazebos which is very well designed. No offense to other store who join the show. I love your products too, it is really unique. But, I really hope next year, considering there is an entrance of $8, they will have more relevant display. Hoping next year, they will have more entrepreneur and garden businesses will join the GARDEN AND PATIO show. Last year was better, my father-in-law says so.
