The Fashionable Mombo Nursing Pillow

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Comfort and Harmony. All opinions are 100% mine.

Motherhood is the greatest defining moment that we make. It is not an easy role yet, it is a rewarding and most fulfilling choice there is. From the moment of conception to having the baby in the house is the most wonderful feeling of joy one could ever have.  It is a sacrifice to wake up in the middle of the night to change the baby's diaper and nursing the baby to sleep but, those are the most precious moments and mothers wouldn't trade the moment for anything else.

If you are a new mom, a mombo nursing pillow is a great product to have. It is a nursing pillow that has a vibration feature which provides the baby a relaxing experience while lounging with you. The mombo nursing pillow is very unique and has two-sided design called Firm2soft: Firm side provides essential support for mommy and the baby; while the Soft Side is for lounging and tummy time.

There are three different pillow styles available such as the Standard, Deluxe and Nude, and it comes with fashionable slipcovers to choose from so; you can pick whatever colors you like. You should check it out in your department store and I am sure, you will going to like it after all, you needed it at this time. You can buy the mombo products at Toys R Us as well as in Babies R Us.

Carnation : Official Flower for Mother's Day Celebration

All women were given a carnation flower after the mass yesterday for Mother's Day celebration. Two year's in a row, I noticed that among the many flowers available, they choose carnation. I made some research and found out that carnation is a "flower of love".

Tracing from the time of Greek and Romans, Carnation holds significance in history. For Christians, it was believed that when Mary wept for Jesus as he carried the cross, the first carnation bloomed on earth. Carnation has many shades such as pale pink, peach, red, yellow, white, purple, and green. What I got here is white, so pure.

Carnation has meanings such as fascination, distinction, and love. The different colors expresses different messages as well. Example, the light red carnation would mean admiration; the dark red would mean deeper love and affection. White carnations symbolizes purity and luck; the pink carnation is a sign of gratitude.

Carnations became the official flower for Mother's Day starting in the early 20th century. I didn't know this at all. That is probably the reason why the church give out carnations and thus, remain a favorite flower of choice.  The carnation flower indeed is significant and have an alluring beauty worthy of appreciation..

Happy Mother's Day Mama

If I had to rewind the good old days, our life has full of bitter-sweet memories. My brother and I was raised by single mother. A mother who is so kind, gentle, patient, caring, loving and always encourage us to help others. She taught us to respect the elders, to practice good deeds at all times, and to take away hatred in our hearts. My mother is now on her 70's but, she is very healthy and I thank God for that.

She is a great mom and if not for her, I wouldn't be who I am now. Happy Mother's Day Mama.

Non-Tangible Mother's Day Gifts That Your Mom Can Enjoy

Mother's Day gifts should be planned ahead of time in order to come up with unique and special gift on the special day for your mom. The usual gifts that are given to moms during Mother's day are flowers. While this expresses your sweetness and thoughtfulness, giving the same gift every year can be a sign of being thoughtless.

There are gifts that your mother will surely appreciate other than material gifts. Yes, you can give something to your mom that she can't touch, but she can enjoy. These gifts are called experience gifts. You can give something to your mom that she can enjoy or experience. The experiences will give your mom lasting memories that are worth more than any material gift.

If your mom has not had a vacation for a long time, then a good out of the country vacation package for her will make her truly happy. You can arrange a tour package for her to a country which she has not been in the past, or to her favorite country. Also, you can give her extra money that she can use for shopping. This gift will surely make her truly happy and remember your gift forever. If you want her to get some visible remembrance of her trip, then a nice camera for her trip can do the trick.

You can still give her a good trip even if you are low on budget. A nice family outing to the beach is a good alternative too. When was the last time that the family went out to the beach? Having the entire family together for one day for your mom will make her feel happy and complete. There is no better happiness for a mother than seeing her entire family happy and enjoying.

Moreover, you can also give your mom something that she always wants to learn. You can enroll her in a ballroom dancing class. It is a good way to meet new people at the same time to exercise. Most moms love to learn new things, but they don't have time to do it when their children are small. When all your siblings are grown up, it is the best time for mom to make time to improve herself.

These are just some of the best Mother's Day Gifts that you can give to your loving mother. Some gifts cannot be seen. There are some that can give experience that can last a lifetime.

Happy Mother's Day

I was watching on TV the live mass by Father Gerry Orbos. Then, I heard this beautiful song by Carol Banawa which was sung by Fatima Soriano. She was a blind girl who had a dialysis 5x a day and she has grown a lot. I envy her strong faith to God despite her health situation. She inspired me so much. Anyway, I would like to say Happy Mother's Day to the following friends that I met here in Blogosphere. Take time to listen because the lyrics are meant to be sung to you.

Umma, Cecile, Dhemz, Madz, Rose,Inday Adin, Beng, Niko, Eleanor, Cookie, Marife, Vivian, LuLu, Katherine, Grace of Tennesse, Maria, Elizabeth and to everybody in my bloglist.

Happy Mother's Day Mom

This is my mom. I already talk to her few minutes ago. Internet is the best tool that we use for constant communication. Our schedule is every 8 in the morning and 8 in the evening. We talk for few hours exchanging what we did the whole day and the plans ahead. She update me with what's going on in the city and in the country. She never cried when I left because it seems that I am not away. If the internet is down, I called her on her phone. If we are traveling, I called her while we were on the road.
So far, the distance is not really agonizing for both of us. This is the first time that I am away from her. We shared the same room ever since. I am a mama's girl huh? Yep, I am. We are both dependent to each other you know.

Right now, my cousin live with her as her companion in the house. She have to because she can only see with one eye. She had a cataract surgery that went wrong. Health wise, she has excellent! I really wish her the good health, the happiness and satisfaction. She deserves to be happy, loved and spoiled. After all, she devoted her life to both of us and my brother.
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MOM!

This is me and mom at Divine Mercy Hill. We always visit this place for Divine Mercy Adoration every second Saturday of the Month.
