Spending A Day with Friends

It was a rainy day in Orlando but, down here by the coast, the sun's trying to show up. It was a beautiful day to explore the beach in Cocoa or just hang out by the mall. As I gaze up above, I took a snap for this amazing display of clouds in the sky. The sky is fleeced with beautiful display of clouds.

We went to Rusty's Seafood Bar and Grill Restaurant by Cape Canaveral area to meet our friends for lunch. It was the first time that I meet the parents of our friend and they are wonderful. Ron and I was already hungry so; we decided to dig in with the buffet while the rest ordered snow crab legs.

We spent few hours reminiscing happy times. We don't usually take photos but, on this day we did and everyone's having fun. There was a newly opened Italian Restaurant in the area so; we thought of checking it out.

We end up buying some doughnuts, cannoli, gelato and some fresh breads. Great tasting bread I must say.

When we parted ways, hubby and I went to Merritt Island just to hang out a little bit and check their Christmas Decors.

Hubby saw this Fiat and he loves it by the Macy's entrance. Well, I don't like to ride in smart cars , sport cars and Fiat is no exemption. He really has the plan to buy a Fiat though.

I went to Victoria's Secret and pick up my freebies. Yap, these are FREE , no purchase required and this is worth $70.

As we head back home, the sun was setting down from the horizon. It was a beautiful thing to see!

Friend and Stuffs

I have been blogging for years now and I found many good friends online. Would it be possible? Internet has it's good blessings as well as the negative aspects in-tail to it. Equally, I had those experiences but, I don't dwell on the negative side. I am leaning towards the positive outcome I am getting. For that reason, I am acknowledging a friend who I stay in contact with after all these years.I got the following stuffs from Cecile, a blogger from Texas. I am encouraging you to visit her blog and view her divine home baked meals. I'm sure you can't stop form drooling, LOLZ. Ces, thank you so much for the friendship, for the comments on my posts which made me smile and for these wonderful stuffs.I've been to Houston and Dallas, Texas, I was there 3x but the last one was when I got stranded on my flight coming from Los Angeles and I was "ALONE". My hubby helped me booked a hotel nearby the airport and I stayed there one night. The next day, I left Texas with my slight opportunity of taking another flight as a chance passenger.My flight ordeal was so scary the whole hour. There were so many tornado touchdown at that time and we are having a bumpy flight. When we arrived in Mississippi, we had to circle the airport because we can't land. The pilot then announced that we had to get a fuel in Alabama. Some passengers requested to take off in that State instead and I joined in. My husband had to drive an hour to get me in that State. My seatmate on the plane is a military who was assigned in Afghanistan said, " I rather be in war zone than in this freakin' stormy bad weather". He meant was, in war zone, he can take cover safely but, on a flight with stormy weather like we had, life is too easy to vanish :-). Anyway, I still want to go back to Texas and explore the many tourist attractions of that state and hopefully, meet my friend Cecile in person :-). Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness my friend.

We were so excited yesterday! Our friends from Orlando, visited us and we had a grand time crabbing and fishing. Well, it was just one of the activities that we did aside from having lunch in the Fort Maurepas area. The rest of the day, we spent casino hopping. Here are some of the pictures.

Here is another special person to blog about because it is her birthday today. Happy Birthday my dear sister. I encouraged her to make a blog and monetize it. But, a week before we should get our Google-ad sense paycheck we were both banned. Oh well, we were both mad at Google-Ad sense. Well, she was lazy to update her blog from then on. She will be back i know. Just to let you know that I am always here for you. Next travel is US right? Not too soon yet, LOL. I will buy a house first so you can stay here longer. Sunday is the much awaited day for NFL fanatics. I would say, I love watching Football this season because, I understand the rules of the game better. I am a fan of SAINTS and VIKINGS. On this day, I was chatting to a fellow blogger who couldn't compose himself because his team was beat up by Vikings. Oppss, sorry my friend, Vikings won and I was celebrating and having a party. Little did I know that I was missing the big event too. It was his birthday! So, I made this greeting to console his ego for choosing a losing team ...oppss again, HEHEHE. Nah! David is a person that you can talk to about sports, friends, and talk without biases. He is only human like us that made mistakes in judging a person but, acknowledge that weakness and tried to build bridges.

I visited her blog yesterday and she made mentioned that her birthday would be after the death anniversary of her dad. I only call her NUTS and her blog is titled EMBRACE LIFE. Update: Happy TGIF Everyone

Update? I enrolled in a TAX Course this semester just to learn the basic on tax preparation. We are only few in the class and I am the only Asian. I have Mexican and British classmates and the rest are all Americans. The class is really set up good and everyone participates actively in class discussions. The teacher is subtasking the lesson which is good. Every session, we have assignments. We have 8 assignments done so far. This reminded me of my summer class that I have back home. It was a special class for Teachers in Science and Math who are teaching Intermediate classes. Well, I am having fun so far.

I was sick for few days that is why there are days that I missed visiting your blogs. I noticed that I have new friends coming to my blogs too. WELCOME and THANK YOU!

In few minutes, I will be heading to HardRock to treat my Husband for a lunch date...hehehe. I will try to take pictures this time. See you all later.

I don't recall how we became friends in blogland. But, I remembered one thing, she talked to me in BISAYA hahaha, a dialect spoken in the Southern regions of the Philippines. Come to think of it, she graduated in the city where I lived. DHEMZ is a product of Liceo de Cagayan University, a loving wife, a norturing mother, a blogger and a friend. She now resides in California and enjoying her life as a full time mom and wife. Most of you knew her already right? But, for those who don't, visit her blog and follow. Be counted as one and she will do the same. Follow my blog first though...hahahaa.

I call her Rio and a friend. My first visit on her blog was last year when she tried to leave a message in my cbox in a Bisayan Dialect. I was so glad to exchange messages to her because it makes me feel good to talk to a Filipina. She had Filipino friends too and meet them regularly. I told her that I have no Filipino friend to hang out in Orlando. Well, last November, I finally found one , yes one hahaha. Anyway, Rio's birthday is this month and I know I am late to greet her but, this is my way of saying I am so glad to meet her in blogland.
