Victoria's Secret Passion Struck

A friend wanted to buy beauty products from Victoria's Secret but, she's living outside the US so; I ordered the item for her. Last March, Victoria's Secret offered free shipping for the entire month for their Angel cardholders. I took advantage on their offer when I ordered this purse. It was a great saving. Right now, I have 5 Secret Rewards and I will be shopping in-stores for my mom.

For A Good Cause

Probably most of us had known someone who suffered the dreaded disease, cancer. I lost one of my dearest aunt few years ago with ovarian cancer and she was young. I miss her every single day but, what can we do about it? Early detection would have help her. There's no crying over spilled milk now. We find solace in knowing that she is not suffering and will never feel the pain anymore.

Whenever I saw this pink sign, I remember my aunt. I do buy stuffs that has this logo, it could be caps, cancer shirts, mugs and if they are selling for a good cause like giving a percentage to support cancer causes , I give my support all the time. This is my way of helping other families who are undergoing this hard time. Small amount goes a long way.

Playing the Guitar

For me, guitar is the easiest musical instrument to play with. As soon as you master 3 chords, the combination can make music. You can find many songs that have 3, 4, and 5 chords combination. For a start, you need to learn few chords and master how to strum. The more you practice, strumming guitar will soon become your favorite past-time. Eventually, you will challenge yourself to learn the tricky chords and how to do plucking.

Later on, you will find yourself visiting to a music store and look for musical gadget such as cheap slides from guitar center. That is likely to happen because you want to have vibrato and sustain that sound as you strum. Not only that, you will also maintain short nails so that you will not scratch and ruin the fret of your guitar. Tell me, are you doing that now?

Knowing the Parts of Classical Guitar

I made mention before that I can play the guitar but, having trouble in tuning it. Maybe I am not trying hard enough to learn. I get frustrated after many attempts. I actually bought a digital guitar tuner but, never tried it LOL. Okay for now, I am reviewing the parts of guitar for no apparent reason at all. I thought it is nice to share this to all of you too.

Wearing Pink Espadrille

For not so tall woman like I am, I brave myself to wearing 5 inches espadrille. It's a bamboo platform woven wedge and let me tell you, it is really comfortable. When I wear this footwear, I look taller especially when I paired it with jeans or Capri. If you hate the pink color, relax! This is not the girly type pink that you imagine. I bought this espadrille footwear in Victoria's Secret and I doubt if they still have it. Just check the website and check out their shoes collection.

Cuisinart Automatic Bread Maker

I ordered my bread maker on the last week of December and after waiting for more than a week, it never came. That's really weird since the other 4 items arrived on time. I called Belk.com and thank goodness, the customer service representative who answered me knows what he is doing. We both tried to track the item using the tracking number and it was lost. He told me, it was lost between the warehouse and the carrier. He automatically place the order for me in the same price with overnight delivery. I got my new bread maker yesterday and boy, this product is just huge and pretty. No wonder that someone will be interested to have it in their kitchen. I was really glad that the customer rep who answered my call was really nice. I hope all the customer service representative are like him.

The original price is $134.99 in Belk.com and I got it for 50% off. Today, I am baking a Carrot Cake. When I am done, I will blog about it in my Food blog and I am hoping that my first attempt of using this Cuisinart Automatic Bread maker will be a success. Good luck for me. Earlier today, I upgraded my second phone, the HTC to Blackberry Z10 and I was happy about the deals that I got because of the 0 down payment. I only paid the shipping and tax. Have you been to Victoria's Secret site on Black Friday? They have great buys and if you search some coupons online, you could have score some freebies like what I have here. Actually I got these tote for free before Black Friday. This is for my mom. I bought the lipstick and use the $10 coupon and I only pay less than $5 on this including tax and shipping. Great deal huh?

I don't wear make up but, I can use some lipstick and this one is totally nice.

Got my Victoria's Secret Freebies

I love freebies especially if I don't pay a dime. Yes, I got this free VS mist for free when I received a coupon from VS thru mail. I don't usually open emails everyday but, last week I read every one of them. Guess what, VS sent me an email to claim this black purse worth $58 for free.

The next day, I went to Merritt Island Mall and claim this black purse for free. There was no purchase required so, both items claimed are FREE. The black purse is a freebie exclusively given for Forever Angels card holder.

I tell you what, half of the time I missed claiming the freebies from VS. I tend to forget. I know, my bad!

I love this black purse and I think I am keeping it. Initially, I was thinking to give it to mom but, I bought her a purse and a wallet so; I guess she will be happy for the two items.

Victoria's Secret Black Tote

I don't do shopping unless I have a coupon and freebies. I got this VS tote for free when I bought this Visctoria's Secret lipstick which was on sale at that time. Using the $10 coupon plus and free shipping coupon, I paid almost nothing. Pretty good deal, don't you think?

Anyway,  I love collecting VS tote and freebies but, I am not a big fan of this particular tote. It's not my style but, I know that my mom will going love this.

When I am depressed, I shop! This is not helping me at all but, I give in to my mood. Here is what I found at Kohls.com today. I love the shoe designs of Avia Shoes but, this American brand is expensive. Did you know that  the word Avia is derived from a Latin word Avis which means bird? Now, check out the logo, it is concise! I was checking for on sale products at Kohls and I found this for only $27.97 which is a great buy for this brand.

Comfortable and fashionable speaks greatly in this type of footwear. Great buy for $34.97 if you compare it with Isabel Marant wedge sneakers which cost for almost $700.

Fila brand will always be my favorite and this running shoes is only $29.97 at Kohls.
