Amazing Places That I Have Been

I love to read history books and fascinating stories of the people, the society, and their way of life in the past. Those are reasons why I took Education majoring in Social Studies in the university. It helps me understand the behavior of people and out of that; I believe that through education people can come out from poverty.

I traveled half way around the globe already and I have seen beautiful places, friendly people, amazing cultures and great way of life. I am not a jet setter if that's what you think. From the Philippines, I've been to Japan, Bahamas and a dozen states in the USA. Check out these interesting facts: Philippines is known as the Pearl of the Orient Seas; Bahamas is the Sailing Capital of the World; Japan is known as the Land of the Rising Sun; and the USA is the Land of the Milk and Honey.
I never know that the meaning of Kuwait is “fortress built near water”. In my college days, my history and geography classes are focused on studying places, people, and phenomena according to the Era and the legends. It was pretty amazing how our world evolved from per-historic times up to this generation of technology and innovation.

While some courageous Overseas Filipino Workers took kuwait airways ticket to work in the oil industry, I choose the path to migrate in the USA and hopefully land a career in the field of Education. I am completely grateful for the opportunity that the United States of America, my home has granted for me. From the amazing stories shared by my professors in the classroom and finally visited the places are to me the most amazing adventure that I have accomplished in life.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at magic Kingdom

If you are planning to visit Disney World and Magic Kingdom is one of your theme park destination then, check this attraction: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Frontierland.I took these pictures while I was on board on the Liberty Square River Boat. You can see so many things from it including this attraction. It was afternoon and the sun was gleaming brightly on us so; some of my shots are not good. I am only using BB camera phone and digital cam.I don't take these type of rides because I feel dizzy after the ride and might ruin my day so, i won't dare. I love watching people scream from the top of their lungs though. Are you adrenalin freak? This attraction is good for you! You should get a fast pass and come back on your scheduled time because the long lines here is heavy. You don't want to waste your precious time waiting on the long line right? Fast Pass is an alternative to all the rides especially this one.We will be going there today, did you know that? Around 4PM later, we will visit magic Kingdom and just go to Adventureland. Just one area and we are good to go. We might check out the Jungle Cruise again and Tinker Bell's magical Nook, sounds good?Come back next time and I will definitely post the pictures in any of my blogs, See yah!

Fruits and Vegetables in Grand Bay Alabama

When we bought the watermelon two weeks ago, we bought other fruits and vegetables too. A basket of Peaches for $12, water melon $9 for 2 pieces, a basket of tomatoes for $6.00, 3 for a $1 - green pepper. You will see these fruits and vegetables sold in some areas of US highway 90. These particular fruits were local produce of Grand Bay, Alabama. When we travel from Florida heading to the East, we tried the route US Highway 98. If you are not in a hurry and just love sight seeing as you travel, you can observed the community of each town. You will be amazed to seeing fruit stand like this and sold so affordable.
Water melon is my favorite fruit. In fact, when I have migraine, this fruit helps me to cool down. I love the red flesh though. We bought two and the other water melon has yellow flesh, my first time to see actually.
I do not eat tomato back home. I can only eat it when it is in Big Mac or added in burgers. Just recently, it is part of my lunch or dinner meals. I ate it with soy sauce, salt and pepper. Yummy!
This pink tomato is really beautiful. It was $1.25 per lb.
$1 for 3 pieces
This is $3 per container.
If you live nearby South of Alabama, North of Florida and West of Mississippi, visit Grand Bay Alabama because you certainly can buy fresh & cheap vegetables and fruits.

Magic Kingdom In Orlando

This castle is truly enchanting. At night time it will change colors because of the lighting fixtures that focus on the building. Tourists gathered around in this area especially when there is a scheduled fireworks. Truly unbelievable sight, spectacular designs and magical scenery. I always have a heavy heart whenever I remembered my visits. You know why? That is the time when the battery of my camera was out. I could have taken the firework display. Anyway, make sure you charge your camera and you have extra batteries. If you feel that the fireworks is almost over, find the exit to avoid the long lines to the monorail or the boat rides. When we were caught by the rush of the crowd coming out from the park, we picked the boat ride. I thought it was a slow ride but, it was not. I enjoyed the ride too. Try it!

Satisfy My Cravings For Olive Garden

When we arrived here in Mississippi, the first restaurant that I asked for is Olive Garden. It is an Italian Restaurant that I learn to love because of their famous bread sticks and soups. Well, those are my favorites and in the vicinity of Mississippi Gulf Coast, Olive Garden was wiped out from its location at Beach Boulevard in Biloxi, Mississippi. The Olive Garden signage that you see here is in Alabama.

Since we travel all the way to Alabama Port, we really took time to find this Olive Garden in that State. I am so contented with our server that is why we left a good tip. Do not miss this restaurant. Find it in your area. If you love pasta and salads, this is the place for you to dine out. I did satisfy my craving since we traveled far, I made a take out order too. Check this out will you?
