Our Home is Listed in the Real Estate Market

After painting the exterior of the house, we have few days extra to de-clutter the inside of our house. We are so tired but, we have to pull ourselves together to get this done and listed. Last Friday, we sign the papers and the house was listed in the market that evening. One client look at the property the next day which is a good sign. Our things are in the garage jam-packed. Oh my goodness, LOL.

We left some furniture's for staging and all we did was de-clutter and clean good. I really hope that this property will be sold fast so we can really start looking for our new home as well. This is our third property and the other two are condos which we rented. We have no plans of living in a condo so; we are currently looking for a 3 bedroom/2bath home with a big yard.

In less than two weeks, the side fence of the house will be fix and the next owner will be glad to have that fix. Our home is located in a corner lot and in a nice neighborhood. We will surely miss this house for sure.

Ghost Hunting in the Haunted House

This is the house of my brother-in-law in Missouri. I am looking forward to see it and walk inside it because the kids told me it is haunted. It has 7 bedrooms with a huge basement. We will be staying in the hotel though LOL. I am scared with ghosts. This house was built in 1858 and known as a historic site, recognized by state and local level because this house was owned by prominent figures in the country.

My husband told me today that there is no way he will be staying for the night here. The family only occupied 3 rooms so; they have plenty rooms for the guests. Who knows I can pursuade him and we will be ghost hunting for the night, yeah? LOL.

Unique House

I took this picture in Ocean Springs, Mississippi nearby East Beach. It looks like new and contemporary in design comapred to the other houses in this area. If there's a big Hurricane, the surrounding area can be easily flooded in fact, Hurricane Katrina damaged the houses of it's neighbors. Well, I like the style of this house. Looks like an office building and I think it's built good. No one will gamble to build a new home here without protecting it from the force of hurricanes. All other houses are built high with stilt. This is the oppossite but, maybe because the house sits on highland. Anyway, I like the design and it's unique.

Redecorating the House

This is a guest post written by Esteban Vinson.

I have found that redecorating the house is actually a great way to get my kids ready for school. It is also a great way for me to have an excuse to slurge a little and make the house look fabulous without worrying my husband! I love having my kids involved in every step of redecorating the house. With their help, my kids learn how to be responsible and focus on finishing a single task, which are important skills for school.

I have taught my kids so many life skills through the act of redecorating the house. For example, my kids get to boost their creativity in helping me choose which colors to paint the house. In addition, I let my kids choose which colors they want their room painted. It is so fun to see how excited my kids get when they see the finished product. If I leave the house for the home decor store, I am sure to set the home security alarm from Home alarm systems cellguard. There is no need for problems while we are out of the house!

Redecorating the house is a great way to engage kids on an adult level. My kids feel so respected when I let them help with this huge task. This makes them feel more confident to finish the rest of the school year and I am so proud of them!

A Haunted House or Not?

Have you been to a haunted house? If I have to choose, I will never try to be inside a haunted house. Not in this lifetime :) for a simple reason....I am scared with the unknown and supernatural beings! In college, I have a Philippine Studies subject and we studied about all those "other beings" and I believe they exist! I don't need to fathomed their existence.

Anyway, this house is built in 17th century (1858) and the present owner whom I knew them personally said that their house is haunted. The kids said that they experienced unexplained phenomena. They even invited us to visit them and live one night with them. Shall I dare?

The Haunted Mansion

It is Halloween Season and I will show you some pictures that I took in the Haunted Mansion, a spoky ride tour that I love! I only came here once because of curiosity! There were many tourist who wanted to explore the mansion and hey, if you are afraid, DON'T BE! You can get out of this mansion ALIVE with Smiling face!

Of the hot attractions in Disney World is the Haunted Mansion which is located in Magic Kingdom Theme Park. The inside is full of tricky decor and amazing ghost creation! It is sort of like the movie "Casper" where you would love the set-up inside the mansion.

You will see mist formation of a ghost on a dining area or passing by you. It was an awesome adventure ride. I enjoyed it and definitely not scared. This scary mansion is wholesome and kids would love it to out grow their fear of scary places!

When you see this at the entrace, make sure you watch closely, or you will disappear in the face of the earth!LOL! Nah! Just observe the eyes!
The carriage outside the mansion!
The long lines made you want to go to the next building and EAT! Yeah! Just visit this place and you will surely enjoy it!

Haunted House or Not

My brother in law lived in Hawaii for so many years. He got three children and the family decided to move to Missouri. They bought this ancestral house which was build in 1858-65 and renovated in 1879-1900. It has full of charm and has 7 bedrooms but, they used only three bedrooms. Last February, they came for a vacation in Mississippi and the kids told me that their house is haunted. They are not afraid because they are used to it but, they do not stay alone in the house. My brother in law just laugh about it and invited us to visit them one day.
I am very curious and my husband promised them that we will visit any time soon. Until that time comes, I will investigate if this house is haunted or not!
