I Will Be Here

I am just sad today and I do not know why. My only consolation is to listen to the music in YouTube or in my Yahoo Music. I am super sensitive. Seeing the chaotic political turmoil in Iran, to what's happening in blogosphere - it saddened me to see how others are suffering and people just do not care. I feel the pain of others and I hope that we as a precious creation of God will take notice that we have a purpose in LIFE. Whatever that is, you have the choice to be good or not. Let us learn to be forgiving and strive to live in harmony. Let us practice expressing LOVE, not hate. Let us try to Embrace, not ignore. Let us try to build BRIDGES, not gap. Let us practice to PRAISE, not ridicule. Help me to spread PEACE, not war.

(Steven Curtis Chapman)
Tomorrow morning if you wake
up and the sun does not appear
I will be here
If in the dark, we lose sight of love
Hold my hand, and have no fear
'Cause I will be here

I will be here
When you feel like being quiet
When you need to speak your mind
I will listen
And I will be here
When the laughter turns to cryin'
Through the winning, losing and trying
We'll be together
I will be here

Tomorrow morning, if you wake up
And the future is unclear
I will be here
Just as sure as seasons were made for change
Our lifetimes were made for these years
So I will be here

I will be here
And you can cry on my shoulder
When the mirror tells us we're older
I will hold you
And I will be here
To watch you grow in beauty
And tell you all the things you are to me
I will be here

I will be true to the promise I have made
To you and to the One who gave you to me

Tomorrow morning, if you wake up
And the sun does not appear
I will be here
Oh, I will be here

Good People And Good Deeds

Yesterday, we went to City Hall of Justice somewhere in Gulfport, Mississippi to pay some Property Taxes. I took pictures while we are routing the US Highway 90 and it made me sad to see how Hurricane Katrina devastated this place severely. I saw the concrete stairway, buildings with roofs blasted as if it was hit by a powerful grenade, endless vacant lots with concrete flooring was all there was left behind. The distruction caused by that hurricane 4 years ago is still very much visible today. We drove to some of the streets in the city and it really touched my heart. Despite the huge calamity, the city is surviving and coping to get back the life of this place.
There were government buildings gone and destroyed. Some of them uses trailer houses as an office. I can tell that this place has an amazing scenery especially the beach area. There were good people that I knew who volunteered their talents and skills to make an art of out of those dead Oak Tree. There are so many Oak Trees uprooted during that hurricane. You can only imagine how disastrous that hurricane was. The pictures above, if you clicked it, you will see the stairs and the building on the right side was totally abandoned.

I was in the hallway of the city hall and my thoughts was still on those sad scenery. A big old man came up to me and started a conversation. I was a little bit cautious but, I made a friendly gesture while listening to his story. He was a Navy Veteran and he was so proud wearing his price possession, a cap with a Navy sign on it. I am so passive with what was written on the cap but, it was all about an organization of a US Navy. There was a huge map of the city and he was telling me the story of each places. My thought was, he was just trying to entertain me with his war stories. My husband and Dad was still doing the legal work so, I entertained myself with the display in the hallway.

The man said goodbye and when he was about to leave the building, a man with amputated leg came in at the back door and cursing the place. There was no wheelchair for disabled clients. The man heard him and volunteered to get the wheelchair at the front entrance. I wanted to take their pictures but, I hesitated. I was amazed that Good People ready to help a stranger still exist. I hope that we will be like that man, ready to help and ready to show a good deed to others.

Nature Speaks

I love the beach. I won't dare swimming though .... i am always reminded with the movies that i saw about jaws...LOL! There are no incident here so far! Oh! It is always in Coco Beach, Florida were shark attack is very so often. They even have a big billboard ads showing a shark and surfers. But anyway, here I am enjoying the view on the beach and feeding the birds.
Spring break is here, there are so many students in the other end but, I wanted to play with the birds right here in this spot. Birds, are not afraid with people. Sometimes, they just dive into me. I keep watching of the bigger birds though. They might think that I am a treat...LOL!
Birds are so amazing and they thrive. I remember one advise given to me by my teacher:
  • We should not worry what our future will be. As long as we work, as long as we do something for good, God always provide for us. No matter how hard we struggle, God takes care of us. Because, He takes care of the birds for their survival, how much more US...that He even died on the cross, just to save us.
I been to hardships in life, yet i did not complain. All the pain in life are just spices. If I have to look at the milestones of my life, those pains are just fraction ... just Spices of life! Hang on to God always and let your faith grow stronger. God provides!
