Photos of Birds

This is what I do when I'm bored. When I want to breathe a fresh air, I hang out in the gazebo and oh boy, birds hang out there too. They usually hang out frequently on the bird bath at the front yard. They go "swimming" and later on, they play with other birds on the top of the trees. They are so noisy!

I was just taking photos of insects and flowers in the backyard and then, I saw one bird watching me, curious on what I was doing.

The other bird just observing everything around , jumping to every direction.

The other partner hopped on the wire above the fence.

Each one of them occupied their territory. There was a woodpecker on the post nearby and they mind their own business.

Here is another bird on the next wire just observing peacefully.

I was taking pictures and they don't mind. They're not alarmed with my presence. Maybe they knew me by now. After all, I always make sure that the water in the bird bath are full everyday. When I re-fill the water, they jump right in.

Bird on the Tree

Yesterday, we drove down the neighborhood and we stopped in Walgreens, one of my favorite stores. As we look for a parking space, we saw this bird sitting on a twig of the tree. We parked in front of the three and this bird just look at us. It was not scared with the sound of the engine nor intimidated by us. I moved closer and took this photo and just look at me. It's pretty amazing that the bird is not bothered at all. We went inside the store for few minutes and when we comeback, the bird still there and just looking around from where it is. Amazing!

Birds on the Fence

I was lounging in the gazebo just enjoying the breeze when this blue bird came by and hopped on the fence. This is not the first time that I saw this bird in our yard.

Another bird is on the electrical wire, observing everyone below including me LOL.

Here is the blue bird again taking the throne of the gray bird.

In another day, I saw the blue bird in deep thought LOL.

We have a bird bath and they love to swim on it especially right after I changed the water, clever huh. Next time, I will use my DSLR to get a good shot. Thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful Tattoos of Birds

I love hanging out in our porch for two reasons: cool breeze and bird watching. Oh yeah, winter here in Florida is like no other. Sunny, cool and breezy ... such a delightful weather don't you think? Just the other day, I was in great awe watching hundreds of migratory birds in our neighborhood. They probably came from the north trying to get away from the freezing winter season so; they flew down to Sunny Florida. They were just hopping from yard to another. The next day they were gone and I noticed, they all drank the water in my bird bath. After filling it in, my frequent guests hopped on the bird bath and I love watching the two cardinals taking a bath on it. If only I can tame them to be my pets. I love birds and that probably is the reason why; I love watching bird tattoos. Check this out:

There are so many tattoos designs out there but, when I saw something like this photo, I can't help but admire. The tattoo is simple and the color is just plain black which adds the mysterious concept of the design. The flocks of birds look realistic and I should say, it's really a work of art.

Do you have friends who have tattoos? What artwork do they have? Do you think birds are favorite tattoos for girls? If you visit the links provided in this post, you will be seeing more of women with bird tattoos and they are all gorgeous in their body.

Tattooing has been practiced for centuries in many cultures and now, it is widespread. While tattoos are considered permanent, with technology that we have now, it is possible to remove them with the help of laser treatments. If you are planning to have a body tattoo, it is your prerogative. You can remove it anyway but; just remember that the pains associated with removing tattoos are typically greater than the pain associated with applying them.

Go ahead and visit Tattoo Set, the social network of Tattoos where 55 to 75% of registered users are women. If you are a tattoo lover, Tattoo Social Network could be the right place for you. Are you looking for a tattoo design? Would you consider heart tattoos? You can find it there too. As for me, I am happy with temporary tattoo because it involves no permanent alteration of the skin. I am chicken, I admit!

Concrete Ceramics Marble Statues

While traveling from Cocoa Beach (our area) to Orlando, we passed by a big lot full of garden decors made of ceramics, marbles and solid concrete. Out of curiosity, we look around and they have thousands of products. They have different animal statues, medieval arts, columns, garden decors molded in different sizes. The bigger the statue, the higher the price tag but, their prices are way better compared to the display in the mall. The temperature was in the 90's at that time so; we decided to come back. On the next visit we bought a bird bath and a round air force marker to put on the grave for my father-in-law. Both items are made in solid concrete and the design was genius.

Jungle Adventures Nature Animal Park

This is Swampy, the biggest roadside gator attraction here in Florida. At 200 ft long, swampy is known as the world's largest gator ... and yeah, swampy is soooo friendly too LOL! From where we live, it's about 22 minutes drive to this place called Christmas, Florida. Oh yeah, this place is awesome because their Christmas is all year round. In fact, their town, their post office and some souvenir shops in the area have Christmas trees with christmas lights and Christmas decors. Amazing huh? Anyway, we always pass by this park when we go to Orlando so; I am always curious. I know that inside the tummy of swampy is the restroom and the gift shop of the park and here's what I know too:Inside, guests will be able to see the exotic tropical birds, wolves, deer and the black bear native in Florida. If you love feeding them, yes you will have the opportunity too. Now, this might be scary for me but, guests will have the chance to have a jungle swamp cruise with 200 gators nearby. I don't know if I will take the chance of seeing the gators thru cruising. Thinking about it made me nervous already.

I would definitely see the giant African tortoise that they have and also, there is a wildlife show featuring the panthers, critters and more. Live shows are interesting so; I might see that. Well, they also have a replica of 16th century Spanish Fort so; I might take a look at it too.

If you love animals, you will love this place. Here is the address: 26205 East Colonial Drive (State Road 50), Christmas, Florida 32709. General entrance is 21.95, seniors are $18.95, children ages 3 to 11 is $14.95 but, if you have children under 3 years old, they are free. I might go there sometime. Maybe in cold season when gators are not super active. >o<
