Woolzies: The Eco-Friendly Wool Dryer Balls

Doing laundry is not my favorite chores at home but, there is no way that I can avoid it. I have no routine in doing laundry so; when I feel like doing it on a daily basis, I would. There are rimes that I do it on a weekend with 3 to 4 loads. Which do I prefer? It doesn't matter really. There are days that I love doing the laundry because I want to have clean sheets as well as clean curtains you know. Few weeks ago, I was lucky to receive a box of Woolzies Dryer Balls.

About WOOLZIES®:
* All Natural fabric Softener
* Pure handmade New Zealand Wool Dryer Balls
* PVC free
* Woolzies Saves Time and Energy, cuts down drying time by 25%
* Helps Reduce Static and Wrinkles
* No Harmful Chemicals
* Hypo-Allergenic
* One box lasts for 1,000 loads.

Shipping and Handling:
I got this product on time and in good condition. The shipping was fast and the packaging was great. Honestly, when I received the box of Woolzies, I was doing the laundry. It was perfect at that time because I ran out of fabric softener in fact; I was truly excited to try it that day.

My Review:
The box that I received has six dryer balls and in good size. The dryer balls are bigger than my fist and fragrance free therefore; no chemicals added. When my first load was done, I was surprised to notice that the clothes are so soft and wrinkle-free. Considering that I did not used a commercial fabric softener, the clothes are amazingly soft using Woolzies. You know what made me so happy? No static! It was truly amazing! Even though I love the good smell of fabric softener in my laundry, I am getting used to having the Woolzies balls now. I have been using Woolzies dryer balls for more than two weeks and surprisingly, I like it. Would I recommend this product? Yes and you should try it.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I am Excited for Cool Weather

I do not like summer time and it's all because of the scorching heat. I am looking forward for cooler weather and thank goodness that September is fast approaching. I am excited to hang out in the beach and watch the sunset during this time of the year. It's been months that hubby and I did not visit Disney so; September is a great month to start using our pass. I am excited!

Different Varieties of Ball Gown Costumes to Have

For little princesses, you must have at least two or three ball gown costumes. That way, she will have a dress for every season and special occasion. They come in different colors, different styles, and with different accessories. Two or three balls gowns are a place to start, with the possibility of adding more in the future.

Pink and Regal

There are the pink ball gowns that have puffy sleeves, velvet bodices, and shiny, sequined trim. The skirts are shiny and puffy, with layers of delicate sheer swoops of fabric on the sides that meet in the back. These dresses can be embellished with fabric flowers, silver sequins, and a hoop skirt underneath, so that it flares out better when she is twirling at the ball. If she wants a dress that is fuller, she can choose a more queen-like dress. This dress would have long sleeves that are fitted to the lower arm, but has a large, poufy sleeve on the upper arm. The skirt is full and will split in the front to reveal a different color that is edged with gold trim. The front will lace together like a corset and a matching headband will come with the dress that is made of fabric flowers.

Weddings and Ladies-in-Waiting

What would a princess be without a wedding gown in white satin and velvet? Just in case a prince comes along, she should be ready. The wedding gown can be totally white with combinations of satin, velvet, tulle, and trim. Or, the gown can be a combination of white fabrics with gold or silver trim, sequins, lace, buttons, or ribbons. Accessories that could come with the white wedding gown would be a hoop skirt, petticoat, wedding veil, white gloves that go to the elbow, and a sparkly tiara, or a crown. A veil can attach to the tiara or the crown. The wedding train can attach to the top of the shoulders or the tiara or the crown. When more little princesses come to play, she can wear the wedding dress and her playmates can be her ladies-in-waiting wearing the ball gown costumes with all their accessories.

9 Great Laundry Rooms

Stay at home moms and dads hurdle laundry every day especially when they have children. It is part of the daily chores that most parents tackle whether they like it or not. If you hate doing the laundry, what would be a nice solution that would make you appreciate it say, a notch higher? I have an idea while I Google laundry rooms.
Splurge a Laundry Room

We often times splurge the kitchen and bedroom so this time; why not splurge a laundry room? You spend time doing laundry anyway right? You wash the clothes, iron the dress shirt, fold some clothes and spending time in a laundry room can be stressful especially when it is not a pleasant space. A good size space is all you need.

Storage Space
How would you like to own this type of laundry room? What I love about this room is the storage area and there's tons of it. How would you like to store your curtains and draperies in here? If you use your bedroom closet for all of those then, this is a great idea that you should consider. Your clothes and shoes will be happy to get rid of the competition for sure (^-^)

Spacious
Oh well, why do you need this space at all for a laundry room? Let's say, you have a toddler and you want to do the laundry. Isn't this a great space for both of you? You can watch your child wanders the whole space and you can freely do your ironing or folding the clothes.

Spick and Span
It is always great to work in a space when it is spotless. It keeps your mind free from the negative thoughts. If your laundry room is clean, organize and tidy, doing laundry will never become a hateful chore anyway. This room somehow attracts good vibes because it is squeaky clean.

Add Some Earth Colors
If you like the shade of white, great! When you add an earth tone combination to it,  depth and elegance will likely define your space such as the laundry room above.

Lighting Fixtures
Each room in the house will shine when you add the right light fixtures. The shape, the textures, and the wall paint colors will glimmer depending how you choose to add the light fixtures. It will guide your eyes on which one is the focal point of the room and the laundry room is no exception. Besides, well lighted space is nice to hang out with so; add an appealing light fixture in your laundry room.

Have a Work Space to Unwind
Doing the laundry takes time so; instead of going in and out of the laundry room, why not have a space so you can work on your computer while waiting for your laundry? You can also use this space when you want to read a book while waiting for the dryer. When your child arrives home, they love to talk and show you their artwork, this is a great space to do just that too while you are doing the laundry.

Add Accessories
Last but not the least is adding accessories to make your laundry room attractive and functional. A laundry basket, glass jars where you can put some pins, loose buttons and coins. Photo frame of your family is a wonderful thing to add too.

I hope you will be inspired to splurge your space by these 9 great laundry rooms. Be inspired and have fun doing the laundry.

Ashton Kutcher's Brilliant Quotes

Ashton Kutcher is one of the actors these days that has won my respect while watching the Teen Choice Awards 2013. I thought all along that this heartthrob sexy Ashton is just one of those actors who focuses on women, fortune, fame, money and drugs. When I heard his speech educating the teens, I was impressed by his personality as a person.

"I believe that opportunity looks a lot like hard work.
When I was 13 I had my first job with my dad
carrying shingles up to the roof.
And then I got a job washing dishes at a restaurant.
And then I got a job in a grocery store deli.
And then I got a job in a factory
sweeping cheerio dust off the ground.
And I've never had a job in my life that I was better than.
I was always just lucky to have a job.
And every job I had was a steppingstone to my next job,
and I never quit my job until I had my next job.
And so opportunities look a lot like work."

Isn't that inspiring? What do you think?

Cruising Plans

As much as we want to go on cruising, it will not happen so soon because I need to renew my documents. I was browsing my album in my old PC and look what I found. Pictures that I took with hubby in it and me, with my hand trying to play the camera caption.
Disney at Port Canaveral Florida

At the Port in Nassau, Bahamas. Hubby is looking at the gorgeous Atlantis

Actually, I still have tons of photos unpublished in my blog during our Bahamas cruising. Hubby and I miss cruising especially when Norwegian Cruise Line and Carnival Cruise Line keep sending us Cruising Packages that's so unbelievably appealing.  Believe me, it is so affordable!

Road Trip: Car Insurance is a Must

North Carolina, the Old North State is among the places that I really wanted to visit via road trip on their coastal road. Looking forward for a glimpse of their Blue Ridge Mountains and Cullasaja Falls as well as a visit to Bennett Place in Durham would be nice too. What do you think? Have you been to North Carolina? What places you can suggest for me to visit?
Well, if you live in North Carolina and you plan for a road trip too, make sure that you check out the car insurance rates burlington nc. When traveling, we should always think beyond the "what if's" so; make a road trip only when you have a car insurance.

Ron Jon Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach

Summer time is great for surfing especially at Cocoa Beach where waves from the Atlantic is simply the best! If you are into surfing and other water sports, you should visit Cocoa Beach and check out Ron Jon Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach at 4151 N Atlantic Avenue with telephone #: (321) 799-8820. Oh well, this surf store is truly amazing! Look at the building and from the outside look, you will be drawn to this place.

At this moment, we were heading to Patrick Air Force area to check out the beach. We love to drive along the scenic route and here we are, routing the Atlantic Avenue. We actually spent half of the day at the beach.
Since this is a surf shop, you will probably find the sports gadget that you are looking for. Buying for souvenirs? You will get it here. If you are hungry, they have something for you here too. Well, around this vicinity, take your pick. Restaurants are just around the corner.
This summer time, you should visit our place ... warm and sunny Florida. See the sky? Isn't that awesome? You probably will stay here for good.

No Yucky Feeling with Utensil Wipes

Few days ago, hubby and I went to Orlando to meet his clients. They were doing three sets of documents and it took them about 2 hours to finish the transactions. It was already almost three o'clock in the afternoon and I was so famished. I told my husband that I will treat him in a restaurant near the airport. When the server takes our order, I noticed that the table has spots on it, kind of sticky too. I checked my purse and was happy to find the small envelope containing the utensil wipes.

Shipping, Handling and Review
I was excited that Utensil Wipes confirmed to send me a 10-pack of Utensil Wipes for product review. I already had plans to use them with my utensils and glasses at home. When the package arrived, I did not guess it right away. I thought it was a letter with a brochure because it was sent in an envelope then, I found this one pack inside (see photo above). The shipping is on time and the product is in good condition. I was a bit confused why it was only one pack while on their page, it was 10-pack supposedly.

Nevertheless, I was still happy that I had the envelope in my purse because when we were in the restaurant, I used it and I was glad that it save me from the yucky feeling that time. I used two wipes for that sticky spot on the table and the other one, for the forks and knife (see photo above).

The Fresh Lemongrass Scent is overpowering but, in a good way. It smells clean. When I used the wipes on the forks and knives, it was soapy but, knowing that the ingredients are safe and natural, I was confident when I used it.

When the food came, I was happy that my table was clean, thanks to utensil wipes for saving me that day.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Starbucks: Safe Meeting Place

When hubby has to meet a new client, I tagged along with him. We always pick Starbucks as the meeting place. We find Starbucks as a safe place to meet clients because it is always crowded and has good security system all over the property. It has Wi-Fi access too if in case we needed some information online. I usually pick my table, order my favorite drink and just wait until they are finish with their business. I will never get bored here as long as I have my coffee and I can access my Facebook, I am good for an hour or two. The employees in Starbucks are always friendly and they are happy to have us here. See? This is a FREE advertisement right? Thanks Starbucks!

Tips for Talking to a Salesman

When you visit a dealership like Hendrick Buick GMC Cadillac, you can expect to talk to a salesman. A salesman will approach you whenever you arrive on the lot. Many people are scared of talking to salesmen because they will feel intimidated. However, a salesman can be very helpful to you as long as you know how to prepare and talk to one when you are on the lot.

First Step: Preparation

Before you go onto the lot, you will need to prepare yourself by getting some information. First, do a little homework on the cars you will be looking at. Decide ahead of time what you want out of your cars, including size, safety rating, and other important factors. Next, find your budget. You should have a strict dollar amount that you are allowed to spend on your car, and not a cent more. If you have a strict budget, you can feel assured that you will not buy a car you cannot afford, and you can ignore any sales pitches that are given to you on adding accessories over your limit.
Decide where you will get the loan for your car, whether it is at the dealership or another outside source. Look at what is standard in loan rates for the current time, and if your credit allows it, do not accept a loan that is over that standard rate. Lastly, find other dealerships that you are willing to look at for cars.
Second Step: On the Lot

When you arrive on a lot such as Hendrick Buick GMC Cadillac, tell the salesman right away what you are expecting from a car. Tell them your budget amount, and that you will not spend any more. Tell them what you expect to get from a loan, if you are loaning from the dealership. When you look at cars, the salesman can give you a lot of helpful information. Listen to it and make decisions. Always take cars you are interested in for a test drive. Compare the price to what other dealerships offer, and tell the salesmen you will go there if you need to. Don’t allow yourself to be pushed around.

Watch Out for Ahmed Hassan in Yard Crashers

I love watching DIY so; if I saw this guy in Home Depot or Lowe's, I will convince him to crash my yard LOL. You should not forget his face because if he crash your yard, it will be AWESOME. His yard project is unbelievably fantastic and it is ALL FREE for you! My goodness you are lucky if he asks you.
If you see him and approached you, say YES! Some people he approached said NO to him because they don't know him. Sometimes he persuade them and they would say NO. It will be the biggest mistake when they are featured in the episode as one of those who decline the offer. So; if you are in a home store, try to look around and remember this face, AHMED HASSAN.

Shark in the Aquarium

You saw it right! That is a shark and it is in the aquarium. We were bored at home yesterday so; hubby and I decided to go to Cocoa Beach. We had window shopping in Ron Jon Surf Shop and went to the next building which is the Four Points by Sheraton. We went inside their shop and as we were on the second floor, we look down and saw a huge aquarium in the middle down on the first floor.

The shark is swimming in its constant speed and it looks beautiful. The aquarium is huge so; the shark and other fishes are not cramped.

I was amazed to see that the shark did not eat the tiny ones. All of the fishes are in harmony with one another.

I am so sorry that when I look at this fish, all I have in mind is to cook a TINOLA. Gosh, I am hungry now. LOL. Thanks for stopping by. I will see you in my next post.

Do you collect coins? I collect coins but, those are given to me as a gift. I do not even know if they are authentic. Well, I have a 2009 US Mint Presidential $1 Coin Set which is about $22 as of today. Not much huh? Maybe in 50 years, it will be. Take a look at the coin below. This 1883 silver dollar is about $145, a great price for a 130 year old silver coin. Would you like to add it to your collection? Check it out now.

A Gorgeous Day

It is a beautiful day today. Hubby and I went to our bank to make an ATM Deposit. Look at the gorgeous sky and the wide beautiful road. No traffic, exactly! Further down the road are Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Target, Home Depot, hotels and more. If we think about Orlando traffic, this is heaven, don't you think?

Bird on the Tree

Yesterday, we drove down the neighborhood and we stopped in Walgreens, one of my favorite stores. As we look for a parking space, we saw this bird sitting on a twig of the tree. We parked in front of the three and this bird just look at us. It was not scared with the sound of the engine nor intimidated by us. I moved closer and took this photo and just look at me. It's pretty amazing that the bird is not bothered at all. We went inside the store for few minutes and when we comeback, the bird still there and just looking around from where it is. Amazing!

Playing Great Music

Two days ago, we went to a surf shop down at Cocoa Beach. As soon as we get inside the store, the music fills the air. We heard the clear sound of cymbals and drums. We thought there was a food court on the second floor and a live band playing so; hubby and I went up. To our dismay, there was none but, as we listen to the music, we could swear it is from a live band.
We decided to go back on the first floor. We took the elevator and before the door opens, we saw the band! They were playing great music near the entrance of the store. I then noticed that the guitarist and the drummer were young female teenagers in fact; they were about 14 and 15. I was wondering if they used the superior drummer at gc? Their music was so fantastic.

The Mai Tiki Bar at Cocoa Pier

We were at Cocoa Beach last week. Hubby and I decided to have lunch in one of the restaurants in Cocoa Pier. Before we went to the Pier, we decided to walk by the shoreline for few minutes. I look at the Pier and it seemed crowded so; I zoomed in and took this photo. It's unbelievably clear don't you think?

Check out the distance where I took the first photo. We could never tell that there was a number of people in there. The end part of the Cocoa Pier is called Mai Tiki Bar. It is located 800 feet over the Ocean. Did you know that this is the best place to snap a great Sunset photo? Oh yeah, next time I will be sharing that photo here. I like this place because people can go fishing, enjoy a glass of beer and a sip of wine. Most of all, I enjoy watching people surfing.

We just walk barefoot along the shore and the breeze was nice. After we walked for few minutes, we then went to lunch at the Boardwalk. We love it there because we can see everybody coming in and out from the Pier. They also have live band which is really great, the feel of Florida living!

We live about 20 minutes from here. Awesome view right? On a nice weather, this place is awesome. Thank you for stopping by. Come by next time.

Finding a Good Hotel and Choosing Activities

There are so many things to do when on vacation in Wyoming. When you are in the western part of Wyoming, you will need to make arrangements to stay in one of the many amazing Jackson Hole hotels. It will be hard to choose because the hotels are so great. They are themed differently and you will have to choose the one that suits your mood and budget the best for this vacation. The next time you visit Jackson Hole, you can choose another hotel to enjoy. There are also camping areas and old historical inns to help you be more comfortable on your vacation in one of the most beautiful places in the world. When you are looking for a great hotel, there are reviews on websites that you will find when you search on the Internet. You will find negative and positive comments online and after reading them carefully, you can call the hotel and ask questions if any of the comments bring up concerns.
Themed and Modern Hotels

There are hotels that look like huge lodges. They are made of logs and they look like they belong in the beautiful mountains of Wyoming. Some are filled with cowboy and ranch furnishings and accessories. They have cow skins on the walls and leather for the furniture. The light fixtures are sometimes made of canning jars. There is wood everywhere and fireplaces to help you feel cozy at night. There are elk antlers for coat hooks, hat stands, and beautiful chandeliers and light fixtures. Other hotels are more modern in their theming but still incorporate the ranch and cowboy feel. Some have restaurants that are part of the hotel and others have restaurants nearby. You will find restaurants that appeal to all types of palates. Don’t miss trying the buffalo burgers, they are lean and taste like the wild, wild West. Some hotels look like they would fit right in to a building in a large city.

So Many Activities

Once you have a hotel picked out, you will then have to decide which of all of the great activities you want to do. There is white water rafting, hiking, mountain climbing that is self-guided or you can hire a guide to take you, Dutch oven dinners, Yellowstone National Park, elk herds, buffalo herds, world class fly-fishing, lake fishing, stream fishing, kayaking, canoeing, boating, swimming, golf courses, hot air balloon rides, sky diving, gondola rides to the top of beautiful mountains, and that is just what you can do in the summer. In the summer you can enjoy your meals out-doors and take long walks around town. The beautiful summer days and evenings are not to be missed. The mountains and valleys are green and covered in wildflowers. If you are visiting in the winter, there is skiing, ice climbing, ice fishing, snowboarding, snowmobile driving, snow shoeing, cross-country skiing, and enjoying the beautiful snow and cold winter nights. Jackson Hole hotels will make your stay in western Wyoming just that much better, so, choose wisely.
