#Umac #BalikbayanBox Tracking is Down

Yesterday, I sent an email to UMAC in-charge in Orlando, Florida asking about the whereabouts of my boxes. The last time I checked using the tracking link in umaccargo.net, one box arrived in Manila last Feb 25 but as of today, the box is not yet delivered. The tracking page in their website is down for more than a week now.

Awhile ago, I received an email from them informing me that my box will be delivered March 13-14 and the rest will follow. They also provided me the tentative dates of the other boxes. All I have to do now is wait and hoping that the box will be received in perfect condition. Last December, my box was slashed-open at the bottom part. I was upset and sent UMAC a complaint to investigate. So far, UMAC has been a good company and I trusted them since 2008. I have no issues with all the boxes I sent thru them except the last box which I sent last December. I am hoping that it will never happen again.

The M and M Philippine Mart in 7339 E Colonial Dr Ste 3 Orlando, FL 32807 is where I usually send my box. I like this store because the in-charge is friendly. If you live in Orlando and looking for a Filipino store, this is the address and you may also call them in this number: (407) 281-6999.
If you are trying to know the whereabouts of your box, try to contact the in-charge of your location. The name, phone numbers and email is listed in their website umaccargo.net then click branches. Goodluck!

Use UMAC Balikbayan Box

I sent boxes to the Philippines every two months and usually, I had to wait for the box to arrive then, send the next box. I was surprised this time because the box that I sent dated May 10 arrived to the address in less than 2 months. It was the first time that my box arrived that early.

I have been using UMAC Express for 4 years now and so far, I had no problems with them. They promised that Balikbayan boxes will arrive in 2-3 months and it did. Only this time, it was better because it arrived so early.

If you live in Orlando area, I recommend UMAC Balikbayan box because right now, you can send a jumbo box for only $70. If you did send a box thru UMAC and wanted to know the Estimated Time of Arrival, check it out in umaccargo.net. Make sure you have your receipt # if you want to track your box and I advise you to check it after a month.

Two months ago, I had some inquiries and I sent them an email. They replied the next day. So; if you have problems with your UMAC box, you can email them directly.

UMAC Balikbayan Box Tracking

I sent 8 Balikbayan Boxes to the Philippines using UMAC Express Cargo. From pick-up to delivery, will be two months. Since there is an UMAC office in our city, the arrival date is on time. All the items in the box was accounted for but, not everyone was happy with their services. I had known that PEANUTBUTTER , not her real name lost a camera worth $2oo. She had some expensive items in the box but, only one was stolen.

If you are planning to send a Balikbayan Box, make sure you securely sealed the whole box.
  • I use 2 big rolls of masking tape or packaging tape to secure the WHOLE box.
  • I itimized the items and insert list inside.
  • I also write the items in the cover of the box (underneath).
  • I have 6 computerized address in a bond paper and tape it again on each side of the box.
  • I checked my receipt and I usually put a reasonable amount for the box content. Make sure not over the limit. I put $400 for the large box and $250 for the small box. It went through the custom anyway. I usually claim birthday gifts on the item section so, that will help a lot. I usually sent the pakage for that occassion anyway.
I hope this will help you out. I know some of you who had a bad experience with UMAC and opt not to send anymore. Sorry to hear about that but, for those who are so desperate to TRACK your box, here is the Website umaccargo.net and click your country. Scroll down and you will find the TRACK YOUR BOX on the left side and follow the instructions. Just type your code found in the receipt. When you click GO, it will start searching. Once it arrived in the Philippines, you can track your ETA. Meaning, you cannot track your box if it is not in the Philippines yet. Good luck Kabayan.
