Citrus Parade : The Crowd
I like this picture. A flower made of Oranges. This will be given to charity after the parade.
Thousands of oranges were used to decorate a float like this one. So, before the parade, I gathered some photos of the crowd.
We were waiting for the Parade to come by on this street. I get bored so I took these pictures of the crowd. And the floats are in amiable amy posts, do drop by. My first time to watch a parade here in Orlando Downtown because I missed the Veterans Day celebration the last time. We came in late. So, this time, we were early so, the crowd waited and my chance to steal some photos.
It was a sunny day but chilling. We park a long ways, avoiding the ticket. As we walk on this street, we already saw many cars given a ticket. I wonder how mad they will be after the parade.
As you can see, people are sitting on the pavement, I did that too. Just like anybody else, people tend to occupy the street when the parade started. Not chaotic though but, some really standing so close to the participants of the parade.
Not crowded yet. But, people are coming in from everywhere. Soon, those will be occupied.
I choose this spot because I have the building as a shed. Later on we moved across the street because the wind blows more and it's getting cooler.
These area are more crowded than in my left side. It will gonna end in that far end. It was announced that the parade is heading at this street. So, I decided to move a little bit closer to the street to have a better view. ( The Floats on my next posts)
