Salute to the Food Servers

We were in the Isle of Capri Casino and Hotel today. My husband treat me for lunch in the Calypso's buffet. I was observing the buffet-servers there and I admire them for being so good on their job. Our server is a Vietnamese and she was also our server when I had my birthday blow-out last July. Did you know that most of the buffet servers received a minimal amount of hourly rate and depend on tips to make-up the difference?

Some received 4.25/hour plus tips. Considering how tiring their job, they deserved to be given a big tip, right? In the US, food servers has a minimal rates really. So, if they treat you good while you are dining, give something that can make them smile ;) Today, I salute our Vietnamese server and I give her good tip. Hoping you do that too.
