Walt Disney: Main Street USA in Marceline, Missouri

Walt Disney World which is located in Florida has 4 theme parks namely: Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Magic Kingdom. Each park is enchanting and full of fairy tales with amazing entertainment, beautiful attractions, and full of adorable shops. Disney Characters will be seen anywhere in the park and most of all; the building designs and structures at Disney are truly extra ordinary.

In Magic Kingdom, the iconic Cinderella Castle is located in the middle of the park. It has pathways across the 107 acres surrounding by what they described as whimsical lands: (photo above) Main Street, U.S.A., Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, New Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.

I was thinking, the minds of Walt Disney was truly amazing to fantasized all these places and make it into reality. But, wait... check this out! I am in Marceline, Missouri this week and I took all  these photos. This is the Main Street USA in Marceline, Missouri, the boyhood town of Walt Disney. It is very similar in the Main Street USA in Magic Kingdom. It has little shops, the Imporium is there, and the Movie Theater as well.

The street sign says "Main Street USA" with mickey mouse ears in it and take note of the clock here. It is all over in Magic Kingdom too. Check out the clock in the first photo above. Did you know that Main Street USA was inspired by Walt Disney's hometown in Marceline, Missouri? Now you know.
"To tell the truth, more things of importance happened to me in Marceline than have happened since - or are likely to in the future." -WALT DISNEY

Rock and Roller Coaster Ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios

I am not afraid to ride these fast moving rides but, every time I forced myself to ride with it, I end up sick! It will only ruin my nice day. Much as I wanted too, my body is chicken. As it moves away, there is a camera that will take photos of the passengers reaction which they can see after the ride. Most of the time, they look scared and funny LOL.

Do you live in San Francisco? Have you ever heard that based on land area, Disney World is about the size of San Francisco? Do you think its true? Just check it out. Anyway, I think I need to visit Disney this week. I just do not know which park yet but, I really wanted to go out and explore if they have new attractions. I took these pictures at Disney World, that is the blue hat of Mickey, the famous marker for Hollywood Studio theme park. The entrance of Hollywood Studio at Disney World. If ever you come to this point and you decided to go inside the park, you can buy your ticket here. This is the entrance heading to the vicinity of Hollywood Studio Theme Park. The picture below is the gate entrance where cars will have to pay for the parking inside Disney Park. This road will go all the way to Disney Hotels, Disney Theme and Water Parks such as: Blizzard Beach Water Park, Animal Kingdom, Animal Kingdom Resort area, and Hollywood Studio. In Hollywood

It was Monday afternoon when we decided to visit the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. We spent few hours touring the place. I promised myself to come back and spent few days to really visit the place. It's almost 10 PM as we enter the Kodak Theatre and we spent few minutes right here. Some of these establishments were closed for the night and so; I was not able to do my shopping spree. Anyhow, these are the photos taken while we sat in one of the benches upstairs.

The place is awesome at night.

I love the design and decorative features in this building.

After taking pictures of this place, we went out and took pictures again to some celebrity names on the Walk of Fame. I found the name of Sandra Bullock and my night was complete! Shallow happy thoughts huh? But, I was! Later that night, we visited Beverly Hills area.

Studio Backlot Tour

Hollywood Studio in Disney World, Orlando and this attraction is just one of my favorites. This is called Studio Backlot Tour and the first stop before you take a ride for the tour. They will show you how the cinema magic works and how they do the movie tricks. Behind the success of movie actions, they will tell the you the secret of movie making.
He is one of the tourists and chosen as a volunteer. The captain swallowed by the sea as his ship sank, this is what really happen. Tons of water was released to his area. Of course, its not easy.
The preparation and informing the volunteer of some safety precaution. Look at the background, its not really a real mountain or real sky.
This is the battle on the sea as seen in war movies. The explosion is like this. Real fire with gas of course. By the way, when you have this tour, step away from the railings because the water will splash on you. You will get wet.
As seen in the war movies or battles at the sea, these are all volunteers from our group. Soon, there will be attack from the air and firing them.
I like the next stop where you can see all the costumes and real props from the movies.

Extreme Stunt Show

This is one of my favorite attractions in Disney World's Hollywood Studios, Orlando-Florida. This is in the Streets of America area where you can also find the following:
  • Muppet-Vision 3-D
  • Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure
  • Lights, Motors, Actions! Extreme Stunt Show
  • Studio Backlot Tour
For dining pleasure, you can also find the following:
  • Toy Story Pizza Planet Arcade- pizza and salad
  • Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano- taste the brick-oven pizza, pasta, chicken, seafood and steak
  • Studio Catering Co- mouth watering salads, sweet desserts and special sandwiches
This is the stunt showing the movie secret, how the stunt men survived the burning flame after the explosion; how the car fly safely and landed perfectly; how a driver can drive perfect in reverse and so many tricks. I won't tell you of course. I let you discover the thrill of this attractions when you come to visit Disney World.

Disney's Hollywood Studios

I can't get enough with my visit in this Park. We arrived late, it was already 11:00 and the weather was 87 degrees but too warm for me. I protect myself with a cap and a sweater . Since it was windy, wearing my jacket was the best thing to protect myself from the heat. Once you are inside the park, you will not feel that the economy is bad. So many tourists and usually they are Europeans. I heard so many British and they came in groups.
In this gate, you will be ask to pay for a parking fee. We have a free parking anywhere in Disney parks so, we only need to show our free pass and my hubby's ID.
This is one of the gates of Hollywood Studios and if you have a free pass, take it out because you will have to show it on the next gate. This park consists of the following places:
  • Hollywood Boulevard
  • Echo Lake which Indiana Jones will be found, one of my favorite attractions.
  • Streets of America of which Extreme Stunt Show and Studio Backlot Tour are located (my favorite place).
  • Commissary Lane
  • Animation Courtyard where you can find the live musical show of The Little Mermaid .
  • Sunset Boulevard which is my second favorite place because of the Fantasmic and Beauty and the Beast Live Musical Show. Teen agers love this place too because this is the place where you can find the Roller Coaster and the Tower of Terror.
Once you enter Disney World Property, signs like these are everywhere. The markings are easy to follow and finding your Disney parks and hotels are easy to find.
If you travel Disney World, I recommend finding a cheaper tour package online because it is less hassle. If you have a Disney package, you will have a Disney Hotel and I tell you, their hotels are really BEAUTIFUL and ENCHANTING! Every hotels they owned are situated near the Disney Parks. If you are tired, you can just go back to your hotel and rest. You can ride for free by bus, by monorail and by boat. The food is included and the chance of your family to dine in with your child's favorite character. That is truly exciting in the eyes of your children.
