#Epcot : The Best Place to Unwind

There is none compared to Epcot!

Among the Disney Parks in Orlando Florida, Epcot is my favorite place to unwind. The rides are thrilling, exciting and simply amazing plus, seeing different countries inside a park is truly one of a kind attraction!

This place is truly magical. The flower garden, the amazing display of Disney characters and the thrilling rides made me want to stay here forever. That's exaggeration I know but, hey there's truth to it. This place is magical where happy thoughts just popping in my mind like bubbles. All good thoughts.

I love the flower garden. This place I so relaxing.

Though this place makes me happy, I do sometimes wish that someday, I can visit Epcot again with my mom and my brother with his family. That will be so much fun!

If I win a million, I will have a flower garden like this. So beautiful and colorful!

Anyway, being here ... seeing all these ...made me realized that without a family to share this lovely place with, life is not complete. Epcot is a better place to visit if family explore the park together.

Disney World Passholder Ticket

For few days now, we were not sure to go to Orlando on the first week of October. We were in dilemma to go on the first week and be there too on the 3rd week, the road trip will be tiring. But since we do not want to stay in Orlando for 2 weeks, we decided yesterday that we will just have two trips. First trip will be scheduled on Tuesday and the itinerary will be to Disney and do shopping in IKEA.

Thinking that our pass will expire on October 9, we decided to push the Disney trip on the 6th. Look at the date, Boooom! It expired today LOL. I remember that last year, we went to Epcot and Magic Kingdom to take pictures of the Fall Display then; the woman at the ticket center convince us to renew our pass on that day. She made a mistake with the payment and the expiration date. Anyway, it doesn't matter now LOL!

We don't have plans to renew it especially now that we are living most of the time in Mississippi. I will truly miss visiting Disney World.

The Barn of Walt Disney in Marceline Missouri

When hubby and I visited Missouri, all I had in my mind was to visit the boyhood hometown of Mark Twain in Hannibal Missouri. How cool was that right? We ran out of time to visit Hannibal, instead we were driving down the road towards Marceline, the boyhood town of Walt Disney. This is his barn, his playground and before Disneyland and Disney World came into existence, this place is where the magic begins, his happy place. Pretty amazing huh?

Unlike Disney World or Disney Land where everything is magical, visiting Walt's boyhood town is just the opposite but, this town is full of charm. Who would have thought that Walt Disney once lived in the countryside? Have you been to Missouri? You should check out Marceline.

Renewing our Disney World Pass

Last October, we decided to renew our Disney Pass. Floridians can avail a special Disney price and it's truly affordable. You may think we are so lucky because we can visit Disney World any time we want. Though it may be true, here is a reality check; consider us lucky if we can visit Disney World once a month! I know right?

Last Saturday, we received this magnet from Disney, thanking us for renewing our pass. Hubby said that this year, we will use our pass more often. I doubt that LOL. I remember that there was a year that we only use our pass one time. Crazy right?

Anyway, our pass is good for weekdays to any of the four parks. It is unlimited! We dreaded weekend because it is always crowded and besides, we want to avoid the traffic going to Disney.  Most importantly, we give way for the tourists (wink). Last October, we visited Disney for three days in a row which is really good. Time flies so fast, here comes November. I guess we will check out what's new in Animal Kingdom besides, I miss the Tree of Life.

Rainy Days in #DisneyWorld's #MagicKingdom

This is not the first time that hubby and I went to Disney on a stormy day. Here in Florida, no one can predict the exact weather in each area. It could be sunny in one street and after 5 minutes, the weather changes abruptly! Last Thursday and Friday, hubby and I went to Disney to hang out in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. When we arrived in the ticket center parking lot, the rain started pouring so hard. We stayed in the car for few minutes.
We saw other guests who stayed in their cars as well. There was a family who came from up north with 2 kids and the father took a huge clean trash bag. He is crafty and he used it as ponchos and they have caps. When rain started to slows down, most of us were ready to go to the Disney car/ The family who wears the trash bag ponchos looks great, honest.
These two had ponchos that is why; they're not afraid of the rain. Anyway, if you visit Disney World on a Hurricane Season, make sure you bring folded umbrella and ponchos coz the weather in Florida, changes every 5 minutes. Thanks for stopping. More Disney photos on my next posts so; I will see you again.

Awesome Fall Decors in #DisneyWorld's Magic Kingdom

I bet your family has started visiting the pumpkin patch in your area and probably decorated your home with fall decors, right? If you are still looking for interesting ideas, check out the decors in Magic Kingdom. I hope you will find in these photos the inspiration you need.

October 4- When hubby and I went to Disney World last Friday, it was the last day of our Disney Pass. We had no plans to renew our passes so; even if it was Friday (crowded), we thought of using our passes for the last time. Uh uh, the moment we exchange our old passes to the new one, we changed our minds. We end up renewing our pass for another year. No regret though and we were contented with our decision.

We were supposed to visit Hollywood Studios but, I told hubby that we should go to Magic Kingdom first. I want to take photos of the Fantasy Land. We stayed until 6PM. It was very crowded that day because of the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

We took the monorail and since we were tired, we decided to comeback by Monday. The guests were in costumes. It was really fun!

Before we left, I took these photos to share with you all.

Come back tomorrow for I will be posting more photos on Fall Decors in Disney.  Thanks for stopping by.

Mexico at Disney's Epcot Theme Park

It was already night time when we arrived in Mexico area. Well, we actually went inside Epcot at 4PM so; it was almost sunset when we started to view the World Showcase area. Mexico is the first country that you will explore/see which is located on the left side of the theme park.

The ambiance of this place was built like you are in Mexico in fact, the atmosphere changes abruptly. It was funny and weird at the same time to see Donald Duck in Mexican attire and speaks Spanish/Mexican but, I like it a lot. The Disney crew also speaks Mexican.

They have a marketplace inside which you can buy sombrero and other Mexican souvenirs. It feels like you are truly in Mexico hearing the Mexican music and people talking in Mexican.

Here is the star of the night and some tourists trying to pose for a souvenir picture.

This is the Aztec pyramid which served as the entrance. There is a market place, restaurants and one attraction ride inside. You should take the musical boat tour especially when you are with the kids. It is fun and so unique.

Here is the busy marketplace in Mexico area. Planning to visit Disney World? Check out EPCOT theme park if you love long walk. Oh yeah ... you will definitely lose few pounds once you tour the property of EPCOT. It's actually healthy and fun. Don't worry, if you hate walking, find your seat in one of their gourmet restaurants. If you want Schnitzel, locate Germany and instantly, ambiance feels like you are in Germany.

The Main Street USA in Marceline Missouri

Last week, my husband and I traveled from Florida to Missouri. It was an interesting road trip since in 8 days we crossed Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, and Missouri as far as Kansas City, Missouri. We had a flight schedule by Delta Airlines but, the day before the flight, my husband decided to have a road trip instead so; we cancelled our flight. Thanks to beautiful Anne- a good friend who did all the effort for the cancellation and refund process. We love you dearly Anne(^o^).
In a separate post, I will share our road trip but, let me show you these photos taken at Main Street USA in Marceline, Missouri. When I first arrived in the US, I was blown away with Disney World. I have lived halfway around the globe all my life so; seeing Disney World is a privilege and I thank God for that. I never imagine in my wildest dream that I will be able to visit Disney World. In reality, this privilege is more than a dream come true since we live just half an hour away from Disney World. To see Marceline, Missouri is a bonus! This is the boyhood hometown of one of the most famous people on earth,Walt Disney.

I have a picture of Main Street USA in Disney's Magic Kingdom but, when I saw the street sign Main Street USA in Marceline, it resembles the name and the charm of Main Street USA theme in Magic Kingdom. Disney family lived in Marceline for only four years but, Disney's love for his boyhood town is incontestable. The town provided inspiration for Disney’s 1955 animated film “Lady and the Tramp”. Watch it again and take note of the little details.

Even though there are a lot of stories and speculations about Marceline Missouri, I fully believe that this town influenced Walt Disney a lot. His vision for Disney theme parks came from remembering his childhood memories and this particular place is one of them.

Have you ever wondered why Disney animated films and even in the theme parks featured Choo-Choo train and railroads? I did wonder and it dawned on me when I saw the many train collections in the old Santa Fe museum now called Walt Disney Hometown Museum. The museum housed the effects, artifacts, and personal belongings of Disney family. With that being said, Walt Disney loves to ride the rails and he has this lifelong devotion to the railroad. “All Aboard!” Sounds familiar right?

Walt Disney minds was truly creative. His vision was extra-ordinary! His dreams are big! If you look at this town and his perception of a happy place is just so deep and beyond what we actually see.
Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland is based on the “turn-of-the-20th-century” downtown Marceline. There is no doubt that Walt Disney loves his boyhood town Marceline in fact; Marceline's Confectionery in Downtown Disney in Disneyland is named after this town. Honestly, I love this town because it is charming and the people are very friendly. No wonder why Walt Disney fell in love with Marceline.

Walt Disney: Main Street USA in Marceline, Missouri

Walt Disney World which is located in Florida has 4 theme parks namely: Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Magic Kingdom. Each park is enchanting and full of fairy tales with amazing entertainment, beautiful attractions, and full of adorable shops. Disney Characters will be seen anywhere in the park and most of all; the building designs and structures at Disney are truly extra ordinary.

In Magic Kingdom, the iconic Cinderella Castle is located in the middle of the park. It has pathways across the 107 acres surrounding by what they described as whimsical lands: (photo above) Main Street, U.S.A., Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, New Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.

I was thinking, the minds of Walt Disney was truly amazing to fantasized all these places and make it into reality. But, wait... check this out! I am in Marceline, Missouri this week and I took all  these photos. This is the Main Street USA in Marceline, Missouri, the boyhood town of Walt Disney. It is very similar in the Main Street USA in Magic Kingdom. It has little shops, the Imporium is there, and the Movie Theater as well.

The street sign says "Main Street USA" with mickey mouse ears in it and take note of the clock here. It is all over in Magic Kingdom too. Check out the clock in the first photo above. Did you know that Main Street USA was inspired by Walt Disney's hometown in Marceline, Missouri? Now you know.

Flower and Garden Festival at Disney World

Hi everyone, what will be your plan for today? No matter what it is, I am sure you will have a wonderful time. As for me, I asked my husband that we will go to Disney World after lunch to see the Flower and Garden Festival display. This event will run for almost 3 months so; we have the time to hop from one area to another. I know that celebrities from HGTV will have a show usually on weekends but I guess, I won't see them. We hate coming to theme parks on weekends. We give way to the tourists. I will be posting photos of this event. Come by tomorrow okay? Enjoy your Friday.

Splash Mountain at Disney World

One of the best attractions in Disney World is the Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom. The twists, turns and 3 dips that lead to the grand drop down 5 stories of rushing water is the thrilling ride of all. If you sit in the front or sit on the right side of the hollowed-out log, you will definitely get wet.We sit at the back. The last drop was scary but, since it was just a split second of falling, I was able to hang on.If you love the adrenalin rush, you will like this ride. I don't think if I can ride this again, the last drop is just too scary for me LOL.I thought I can't ride it but, it was fun. I managed but, was screaming...well, all of us did anyway.Splash Mountain is a thrilling ride. If you are seeking for fast rides, this is just one of them. It really gives you the thrill!
